Athens Democracy Forum 2020, The New Abnormal: Reimagining Democracy

We are excited to partner for one more year with one of the most important forums for Democracy in the world, the Athens Democracy Forum.

“Convening leaders in government, politics, business and not-for-profits, the Athens Democracy Forum (September 30 – October 2) discusses the current state of democracy and explores potential actions and solutions. Themed ‘The New Abnormal: Reimagining Democracy’, it is hosted by The New York Times Op-Ed Columnist Roger Cohen and moderated by senior NYT journalists.“

The Athens Democracy Forum took place from September 30 – October 3, a hybrid event –  a virtual event with a small conclave of speakers in Athens.  In case you missed any of the conference, here are some resources and highlights:

You can also read the Special Report from The New York Times, which pulls together articles and essays based on topics from the conference.

Check out what we previously organized with the Athens Democracy Forum:

A mock trial in 2018!

-A panel with international journalists on media suspicion!

-A conference about press coverage in times of crisis in Europe!
